Marine Engines

Timik have been supplying Ford & New Holland based reconditioned engines to the Mermaid factory since 2018 and are now pleased to be able to offer this service direct to the customer.

All of our marine engines are rebuilt to a very stringent specification as expected and demanded by the commercial marine industry.

The same Perkins engines we have been building since 1987 were marinized by Sabre from 1991, we rebuild the 4.236 (Sabre M90), 6.354 and 1006 (M130C to M300Ti) base engines out of new genuine Perkins parts (if parts are obsolete we will use quality aftermarket parts, this is not usually the case as these engines are still supported by Perkins).

We also offer an additional service to remove, strip, clean, bead blast, inspect and pressure test, paint strip, bead blast and refit marine parts including dyno testing and spraying of the engine, custom colours are available at additional cost.
