The Ford Genesis engine was used as a base engine for Mermaid Marine applications, including the Melody II. This water pump is designed for the engine cooling system and is suitable for replacement, servicing and refurbishment of compatible Genesis-powered marine engines.
Replacement Fresh Water Pump for Ford Genesis 4 Cylinder Marine Engines
This centrifugal water pump is for the Mermaid Melody II marine engines, and uses a serpentine / Poly Vee belt.
The water pump is an important part of the engine cooling system, circulating coolant through the engine to help regulate operating temperature during use. Replacing a worn or failed water pump can form an important part of routine marine engine maintenance.
