Perkins RG40023 Short Engine
Genuine Perkins RG40023 short motor, agricultural specification for 1104C-44T Engines. RG and RJ Builds. Also fits some RS engine builds.
For AGCO, Massey Ferguson Tractors (MF5455, MF6455, MF492, MF5445, MF6445 Step Nose), Landini Tractors, Mining Equipment, Telehandlers (Manitou), Wheeled Tractors, Backhoe Loaders, Lindner Geotrac, J.C.Bamford (JCB) Telehandlers and Shovel Loaders.
Due to Perkins continuous improvement, a new spheroidal graphite (SGI) crankshaft was introduced in 2010 to improve power take off drive capability. The crank nose is spineless.
When fitting your new short engine you may require a new crankshaft pulley to fit, please enquire with your full engine build and serial number and we will be happy to check this for you.

The crankshaft pulley will still require three screws to secure the pulley to the crankshaft (screw part number superseded from 32186137 to 32186146)
