The Perkins 1104C-44 is a four-cylinder, 4.4 litre diesel from the Perkins 1100 Series. It is the naturally aspirated version of the 1104, running without a turbocharger. This unit is built to Manitou specification with an agricultural-type block and supplied new as a complete engine.
It runs a 105mm bore and 127mm stroke, a 19.3:1 compression ratio, and a 1-3-4-2 firing order, with mechanical direct injection. The 1100 Series is designed to meet EU Stage II/IIIA and US EPA Tier 2/Tier 3 equivalent emissions standards. Power and torque are set to the build rating.
The 1104C-44 is used across agricultural and industrial machinery, from medium tractors to generator sets and general plant. This is a Manitou-spec build with an agricultural-type block, configured to suit the machine that originally specified it. It is supplied new, not as a rebuild, so there is no core return to arrange.
