Kohler KDI2504TCR/22 diesel engine. 55kW (74HP). Tier 4 Final / EU Stage V. The /22 suffix denotes the JCB OEM variant. New surplus stock.

2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, in-line, cast iron block. Bore 88mm, stroke 102mm. Waste-gate turbocharger, high-pressure common rail direct injection, 4 valves per cylinder with hydraulic tappets. Maximum torque 300Nm. No DPF required.

This engine is manufactured by Kohler and supplied to JCB as an OEM unit under the “JCB Diesel by Kohler” designation. It is a separate engine family from the JCB 444 and is not interchangeable with it.
