The Timik Re-Manufacturing Process

Core Parts Restoration

Every Ford 7600 re-manufactured engine undergoes a meticulous restoration process:

• Engine Block – Bored back to standard with new liners fitted
• Cylinder Head – Fully re-manufactured with re-cut valve seats and new valves if required
• Crankshaft – Professionally ground and polished to ensure precision operation
• Fuel Injection System – Completely re-manufactured for peak efficiency and reliability
• Turbocharger (if applicable) – Fully re-manufactured to factory specifications

Engine Re-assembly

Our expert technicians reassemble each engine in a controlled environment, using only new, high-quality components:

• New pistons, rings, and bearings
• New oil pump and water pump
• All-new gaskets and seals
• All other components inspected and replaced where necessary

Every engine is then dynamometer tested to verify performance, followed by a full paint finish before being prepared for dispatch.

Built to Order – Exchange Unit Policy

All of our Ford 7600 engines are built to order, ensuring the highest level of quality and attention to detail. Our pricing is based on an exchange unit, meaning the customer must provide a rebuildable core.

If a suitable core is unavailable, we will re-manufacture your existing engine instead.

All Ford tractor engines are built on a to order basis. Please contact us with your fuel injection pump number, and the machine model it is fitted to so can advise if we can offer an exchange unit or will require your own engine to rebuild.
