The Perkins 854E-E34TA is a four-cylinder, 3.4 litre diesel from Perkins’ 850 Series, designed to meet EU Stage IIIB and EPA Tier 4 Interim emissions standards. Built at Perkins’ Peterborough facility, the 854E was developed to give OEMs a compact, high power density solution, reducing the re-engineering burden when upgrading from earlier-generation units.

It runs high pressure common rail fuelling with an electronic control module, turbocharged and air-to-air chargecooled induction, and delivers 63–86 kW across the rating range.

The JR83867 is an agricultural specification build, intended for tractors and agricultural machinery. The SAE A PTO drive and compact envelope make it a natural fit for agricultural tractors, telehandlers, and related equipment.

With no DPF or SCR requirements at Stage IIIB, it remains a straightforward installation and carries Perkins’ 500-hour oil change intervals, reducing operating costs in field use.
