This is a remanufactured long block for the Perkins 1104C-E44TA, a four-cylinder, 4.4 litre diesel from the Perkins 1100 Series and the electronically controlled common rail variant. It is rebuilt with all new parts for original engine build number RK37898, and listed under build references RK40007 and RK40029.
A long block is the core engine assembly rather than a complete engine. The 1104C-E44TA runs a 105mm bore and 127mm stroke, a 1-3-4-2 firing order and direct injection, with electronically controlled common rail fuelling. This unit is built to the most recent Perkins specification, so it may carry improved internal design features compared with the original engine.
Because it is built to the latest specification, a new crankshaft pulley may be required depending on your engine serial number. The long block is supplied with a six month parts-only warranty.
