The Perkins 1104C-44T is a four-cylinder, 4.4 litre diesel from the Perkins 1100C range, turbocharged with a top-mount turbocharger and fitted with an industrial-type cylinder block. This is the RG build, supplied under build code RG38100.
It runs a 105mm bore and 127mm stroke, an 18.2:1 compression ratio, a 1-3-4-2 firing order and direct injection. The industrial block and top-mount turbo configuration suit the demanding duty cycles of the machinery this engine is designed for. It is available in a wide choice of build options and can be converted to fit your specific build requirements.
It fits fork lift trucks, dumpers, side loaders, telescopic handlers, skid steer loaders, gensets, backhoe loaders, sweepers and compressors across a range of brands including Terex, Thwaites and Manitou.
