New, unused JCB 444 naturally aspirated engine. Fixed speed 1,500rpm. Stanadyne mechanical fuel injection pump. Part number SA320/40429.
4.4-litre, 4-cylinder, in-line. Bore 103mm, stroke 132mm, firing order 1-3-4-2. Naturally aspirated, no turbocharger. No common rail, no ECU, no aftertreatment.
The SA prefix denotes this as a JCB IPU (Industrial Power Unit) variant, configured for static applications rather than mobile machine fitment. Fixed at 1,500rpm, it is suited to 50Hz generator sets, hydraulic power packs, compressors and similar auxiliary power applications where a constant governed speed is required.
