New JCB 444 DieselMax engine. 74kW (99HP) at 2,200rpm. Mechanical Tier 3 / EU Stage IIIA. Part number 320/40201. Supplied complete with 12V starter motor and electrics.

4.4-litre, 4-cylinder, in-line. Bore 103mm, stroke 132mm, firing order 1-3-4-2. Turbocharged and charge air cooled (TCA), mechanical injection. No common rail, no ECU, no after-treatment.

Please note: this engine is available to order with a 12 to 15 week lead time. If you need a faster turnaround, the JCB 444 74kW Turbo 12V is a Tier 2 alternative in stock now — your intercooler would not be used with that unit, but this will not impact the power output.

Backhoe Loaders: JCB 3CX higher output specification (Tier 3, approximately 2009 to 2014, TCA mechanical), JCB 4CX (Tier 3, approximately 2009 to 2014).

Telehandlers (Construction): JCB 531-70 (Tier 3, depending on specification), JCB 533-105, JCB 535-95 (Tier 3), JCB 540-140 (Tier 3), JCB 541-70 (Tier 3).

Telehandlers (Agricultural): JCB 531-70 Agri, JCB 535-95 Agri, JCB 536-60 Agri, JCB 541-70 Agri (all Tier 2 agricultural specification).
