Ford Dorset, Cargo, Dover and Otosan Marine engines have been supplied by Timik Engines to the Mermaid factory since 2018 and are now pleased to be able to offer this service direct to the customer.

All of our Ford Industrial and Ford Genesis based marine engines are rebuilt to a very stringent specification as expected and demanded by the commercial marine industry.

We also offer an additional service to remove, strip, clean, bead blast, inspect and pressure test, paint strip, bead blast and refit marine parts including dyno-testing and spraying of the engine, custom colours are available at additional cost.

How It Works

Our remove and refit service includes removal, cleaning and inspection of all marine based parts, pressure test of intercooler tubestack, heat exchanger, oil cooler and gearbox cooler. Labour to re-hose/o ring, and dyno test completed engine and paint.

Any marine parts that fail testing will be reported back with any additional costs before proceeding.

The marine parts removal and refit is not available as a standalone service.
